Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Type:* Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are looking to add another team member to our established accounting department that handles high daily volumes.

You will be joining an experienced team with strong systems already in place.

Paid training is provided and the role includes two weeks paid vacation.

On site parking available.

We will train the right candidate and need someone who can start as soon as possible.

Accounts Receivable
Enter daily customer invoices into our accounting system
Verify accuracy of invoice details including pricing, dates, taxes and customer data
Post and apply customer payments (e transfers, credit cards, cheques, wires, direct deposits)
Review daily bank activity and match deposits to recorded payments
Maintain clean AR records and support the month end process
Review AR aging and follow up with customers on overdue balances




Send customer statements as needed
Prepare weekly AR summaries for management

General Accounting Support
Assist the AP team with vendor payments and cheque runs
Support commission reporting and other routine accounting duties
Respond to credit reference requests
Work closely with multiple members of the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills and Qualifications
Highly organized with robust attention to detail
Ability to multi task and meet daily deadlines
Strong communication skills
Good problem solving ability
Comfortable using Outlook, Word and Excel
QuickBooks experience is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
