Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T OR 3RD year apprentice to join our maintenance team. we have positions in the shop. The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience working with transport trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment including Peterbilt, Kenworth, various trailers. The 310T will ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities
.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transport trucks, trailers.
Diagnose mechanical issues
Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools effectively
Operate machinery and trucks for testing or troubleshooting purposes when necessary
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during all repair activities
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used
Assist with assembly or installation of new equipment as needed
Support other team members with technical expertise in mechanical systems

Experience
Proven mechanic experience with truck and coach




Valid 310T mechanic certification or equivalent qualification or 3rd year
Dealership experience or fleet work preferred but not required
Hands-on experience with Peterbilt, Kenworth, various trailers, AC systems, welding.
Solid knowledge of transport truck repair maintenance
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks
problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation when interacting with clients or team members
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or travel between sites ( air brake endorsement is a asset)
