Job Summary

Bluewater Family Support Services is launching CARES, a current specialized foster care support program for children and youth who have experienced developmental trauma. We're hiring a Program Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, support foster families, and help build this program from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
Lead and coach a small team of direct support staff
Deliver training to caregivers and staff on trauma-informed care and de-escalation
Provide real-time consultation and coaching to foster parents
Oversee documentation and reporting in line with MCCSS/CAS requirements
Collaborate with CAS, schools, and clinicians on case planning
Track outcomes and contribute to program evaluation
Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, progress notes, and program reports in compliance with organizational policies
Facilitate training sessions on topics such as special education needs, medical terminology, or pediatric care for staff or community members

Requirements




Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) required
Explicit Broad Sector Check (Ontario)
Experience delivering training or facilitating groups
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Solid computer skills
Openness to learning and coaching
Creativity and flexibility in problem-solving
Availability for flexible hours, including occasional evenings

Experience in foster care, child welfare, or trauma-informed settings is an asset

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
