Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with residential construction and material handling. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective, and precise operation of excavators for residential basement excavations and backfills.

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment excavators.
Conduct pre-operation inspections on machinery to ensure safety and proper functioning before each shift.
Assist with site preparation by leveling ground, digging trenches, or clearing debris as needed for project progression.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site.




Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.

Experience
Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction.
Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment use and site operations.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and productivity.
