We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a rapid-paced workplace. The Appliance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective appliance repairs.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with appliances using schematics and technical manuals
Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns
Test appliances after repairs to ensure proper functioning
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair issues and solutions clearly to clients
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities
Assist with assembly or installation of recent appliances when required
Skills
Electrical experience with the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
Proven appliance repair skills across various brands and models
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus, especially for combined appliance-HVAC units
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service calls
Experience with assembly or installation of appliances is desirable
Familiarity with schematics, troubleshooting techniques, and basic hand tools
