Duties
Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Conduct repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs and modifications
Assist with the installation of new components, systems, or assemblies following detailed schematics and specifications
Lift heavy parts or equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols during maintenance or repair tasks
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections,
and maintenance activities for quality control purposes
Support team members with technical guidance on mechanical systems and troubleshooting procedures
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment is highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive or machinery repair
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
Experience with assembly processes and mechanical installations is desirable
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and technical diagrams accurately
