Position details:
We are currently seeking candidates for an Electronics Assembly role located in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Operator capable of assembling, soldering, reworking, inspecting, and testing PCB assemblies. However, the client is also willing to train candidates who are rapid learners. If you have experience in assembly, positive hand-eye coordination, or a background/education related to electronics, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Preferred skills and experience:
Hands-on PCBA assembly, hand soldering (through-hole, SMD, fine-pitch), and component-level rework and repair
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-7711/7721; IPC certification is an asset
Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs,
and work/rework instructions and perform inspections to IPC/internal standards
Experience using magnification, soldering/desoldering tools, selective soldering or depaneling equipment
Solid attention to detail, accurate documentation of defects/traceability, and adherence to SOPs and ISO/quality protocols
Comfortable working in an ESD-controlled workstation and supporting final assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
College diploma or certificate in a related field; 1–2 years of relevant electronics manufacturing or rework experience preferred
