Together We Can is a Vancouver based Men's and Women's Drug & Alcohol Recovery & Education Society. We need a full time cook for our women's program, located in Vancouver. The cook is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by providing clients with balanced and nutritional meals.

Education & Experience
High School diploma/GED
Food Safe Certificate
First Aid

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Compassionate, patient and understanding
Supervisory skills
Basic phone/computer/electronics skills (email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet, Fax, Copier, etc.)
Mature, independent and strong work ethic





Job Duties:
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Occasional stat holiday coverage may be required. No nights - your shift finishes at approximately 5:00pm.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
