A.L. Blair Construction Ltd. has been proudly serving Eastern Ontario with quality aggregates, concrete, asphalt and heavy civil construction services since 1932. We are currently looking for a Welder / Millwright to join our team.

We are seeking a motivated, dependable individual with experience in welding, fabrication, equipment maintenance, and mechanical repairs. The successful candidate will work on a variety of construction and industrial equipment and projects.

Responsibilities
Welding and metal fabrication
Perform repairs/maintenance on crushing, asphalt and concrete plants
Repair and maintenance of trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery
Troubleshooting mechanical issues
Performing preventative maintenance
Installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components




Assisting with general shop and field repairs as required
Working safely and maintaining a clean work workplace

Qualifications
Experience as a welder, millwright, mechanic, or similar trade
Solid welding and fabrication skills
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Experience working with heavy equipment is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence
