Responsibilities
Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces before painting.
Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections using suitable materials.
Apply primers, paints, and other finishes with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match paints to achieve the required colours, textures, and finishes.
Install wallpaper and apply other decorative finishes when required.
Measure, cut, and apply coatings according to project specifications.
Protect surrounding areas and surfaces during painting work.
Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and procedures.

Employment Requirements




Completion of secondary school is an asset.
Previous experience as a construction painter or in a related position is required.
Ability to work at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
Positive knowledge of painting methods, materials, and equipment.
Robust attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience applying multi-colour finishes.
Knowledge of powder coating and dipping techniques.
Experience operating paint-spraying equipment.

Working Conditions
Work will take place at various construction sites.
The position is physically demanding and involves standing, climbing, bending, and lifting.
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors and in different weather conditions.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
