Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Load Planner/Dispatch Logistician to join our team.

As a Load Planner/Dispatch Logistician, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and ensuring productive delivery schedules and booking loads at our Milton office. This role requires solid organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and excellent communication skills.

Duties:
Plan and coordinate the movement of Inbound/Outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and minimize costs
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information for load planning
Monitor shipment progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations
Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status
Analyze data related to transportation costs, delivery times, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement
Perform data entry tasks to update shipment details in various systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

-Booking Loads from Load Link as required





-Provide accurate directions for pick-up and delivery services

-Able to work independently

-Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers

-Positive attitude with a willingness to get the job done quickly

Skills:
1 years experience is must

-Own Customer Base will be an asset.

-Knowledge of Transportation industry

-Familiarity with Dispatch Software(Transplus -Fleet Manager/Loadlink)

-Understanding of Canada/US geography.

-Knowledge of ACE/ACI and Customs/Border Crossing.

-Working ability with MS Word and Excel.

-Exceptional Interpersonal skills.

-Strong Attention to detail.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Creative and effective problem solving ability.

-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Solid knowledge of shipping and receiving processes

Pay: $40,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
