Duties
Greet patients warmly, check in appointments, and manage patient flow efficiently
Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and handle rescheduling as needed
Verify insurance information, process payments, and manage billing records accurately
Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, preparing materials, and maintaining sterilization protocols
Support clinical tasks such as taking x-rays and assisting with pediatric dental care
Maintain cleanliness of operatories and sterilize dental tools according to strict infection control standards




Use dental practice management software such as Abeldent to update patient records and streamline administrative workflows

Skills
Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting roles with strong knowledge of medical terminology
Familiarity with dental software platforms like Abeldent for scheduling and record management.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages while demonstrating professionalism and empathy
Skilled in dental assisting techniques including taking x-rays , preparing treatment rooms, and supporting clinical staff
Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace
Basic understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
