Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part time counsellor to join our team on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays . The ideal candidate will counsel patients about their options for medical and surgical abortions as well as IUD insertions. This role requires a background in women's health, patient care, and experience working in a medical environment. The counsellor will collaborate with our nurses and doctors to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Duties
Counsel patients in the Clinic. Give patients medical history and consent documentation to fill out and sign.
Explain the procedure and answer all questions from patients.
Provide patients with IUD insertion/removal and contraceptive advice.

Qualifications
Undergrad in Psychology or Social Studies or Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario.
Experience working in a medical clinic or doctor's office.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to ongoing career development and research initiatives.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Work Location: In person
