Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This role involves guiding children's development through educational activities, fostering social skills, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day. The Daycare Teacher will play a vital part in supporting families and promoting positive early learning experiences.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times
Foster a caring and inclusive environment that encourages children’s curiosity and independence
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas in accordance with health and safety standards
Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
Observe and document children's developmental milestones to inform future planning and assessments
Skills
Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
Solid caregiving skills with a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and well-being
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children
Ability to create engaging, educational, and fun activities tailored to various age groups
Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children in a dynamic environment
Job Types: Full time, Part time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
