Description

Shepard-Martinez Construction is a Halifax painting and drywall contractor. We're hiring people to knock doors in targeted HRM neighbourhoods and book free estimates for homeowners. You are not selling at the door. You are booking an appointment, that's the whole job.

The hours

Weekday afternoons and early evenings, 4:00–7:30pm, and Saturdays 10:00am–4:00pm. Those are the hours homeowners are actually home.

Part time or full time hours available.

The pay, in plain terms
$17.00/hour guaranteed, for every hour you work, whether you book anything or not
$5 for each qualified estimate you book that actually happens
$50 for each booked job
$75 weekly bonus when you book 10 or more estimates in a week

Meet at the neighbourhood, get your streets and your target count
Knock roughly 22–25 doors an hour,

Book estimates directly into our calendar on your phone

People who can hear "no thanks" forty times and knock the forty-first door with the same energy
People who walk quick
People who are comfortable talking to strangers who are older than them
Anyone who wants their pay tied to their effort

Requirements
18+, legally entitled to work in Canada
Able to walk 8–12 km per shift in Nova Scotia weather
A smartphone
Your own reliable transportation to the neighbourhood

Pay: $17.00-$26.00 per hour
