Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently, and a passion for the food industry. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff as needed
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards




Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

Skills
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
Robust customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Excellent time management to handle multiple tables efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
Good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and interact positively with guests
Familiarity with food industry standards, serving techniques, and upselling strategies
