Northside Pavement Markings is looking for an experienced paint truck operator to lead center line striping operations on New Brunswick highways. You'll be behind the wheel of our long line paint application truck, responsible for laying down accurate, specification-compliant highway markings. This is a skilled position — we need someone who takes precision and safety on active roadways seriously.
Duties
Operate long line center line paint application truck on provincial highways
Apply pavement markings (center lines, edge lines, lane lines) to Department of Transportation specifications
Calibrate and maintain paint application systems, including spray guns, bead dispensers, and pressure settings
Requirements
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the paint truck and support vehicles
Coordinate with the crew on traffic control setup, lane closures, and work zone safety
Monitor paint and glass bead consumption, ensuring consistent coverage and reflectivity
Maintain accurate daily logs of distances painted, materials used, and locations completed
Communicate with dispatch and crew leads regarding schedules, road conditions, and project progress
Ensure all operations comply with provincial highway safety regulations and traffic control standards
Valid Class 3 (or higher) driver's license with clean abstract
Proven experience operating line painting or similar specialty trucks on highways
Solid understanding of highway work zone safety and traffic control procedures
Ability to maintain straight, precise line application at varying speeds
Comfortable working long hours on active roadways in all weather conditions
Mechanically inclined — able to troubleshoot basic equipment issues in the field
Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $123.00 per hour
