Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Saw Grinder, CNC Saw Grinder, or Knife Grinder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision grinding of saw blades and/or knife grinding such as ice knives, planer knives and chipper knives as well as braising, tipping and babbiting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the production and service of top-tier cutting tools in a agile setting.

Responsibilities
Operate and set up manual and CNC grinding machines to sharpen saw blades, knives, and cutting tools with precision.
Conduct routine inspections of finished tools using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform maintenance on grinding equipment.
Follow safety protocols when working with machinery.

Requirements
Proven experience operating grinding machines, including CNC machines,



knife grinders and other grinding equipment. Braising and tipping experience is an asset.
Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machines, and manufacturing workflows.
Experience with warehouse operations including forklift operation is a plus.
Competence in using hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
