Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves ensuring pets are comfortable, well-groomed, and happy, while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The Pet Groomer will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for pet owners and their beloved animals.

Hours: We are looking for to fill a full time, daytime position with hours from approx 9am-5pm (we do have a bit of flexibility). Monday to Friday.

Duties
Bathe, dry, and brush pets using appropriate grooming techniques and tools
Trim fur, nails, and hair according to breed standards or customer preferences
Clean ears, express glands, and perform other grooming procedures as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area following health and safety guidelines
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare instructions
Handle pets gently and professionally to ensure a stress-free grooming experience
Assist with heavy lifting of pets or equipment when necessary




Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns with professionalism

Experience
Prior experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong customer service skills to build rapport with clients and their pets
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed
Passion for animals and a commitment to delivering exceptional grooming services
