Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd- or 3rd-Year Apprentice to join our growing team in Calgary. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced journeypersons on commercial, and/or industrial projects while continuing to develop their trade skills.

Responsibilities
Valid Alberta Drivers License
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Perform flooring installation and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied.
Execute caulking tasks to seal joints and seams for weatherproofing.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material needs.
Fabricate custom pieces as required for specific project requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements
Proven experience as an Apprentice or similar role in the construction industry.




Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus for cooperative projects with electricians.
Familiarity with construction estimating practices to assist in project planning.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Robust attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
