Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and possess excellent technical skills to produce high-quality images. Duties
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.
Analyze images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed and images obtained in patient files.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret results and provide insights.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
Keep ultrasound equipment clean, calibrated,



and in proper working condition.
Stay current with advancements in sonography technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications
Certification or licensure as a Sonographer from an accredited program.
CMRITO certificate required.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
Proven experience performing ultrasound examinations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
Robust attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality images.
Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations and standards.
Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
