Canadian Tax Manager | $115,000–$145,000 | Oakville (Hybrid)

There comes a point in tax where preparing another return teaches you considerably less than understanding why the return looks the way it does.

This role is aimed at someone who has reached that point.

You’ll join an established Oakville CPA firm advising entrepreneurial businesses and their owners. The tax practice covers individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates and privately held Canadian corporations, with additional opportunities to collaborate on Canada-US cross-border matters.

You’ll review compliance, identify planning prospects, manage client relationships and help develop less experienced members of the tax team.

What they’re looking for:
CPA designation
5+ years of Canadian public accounting experience
Strong Canadian tax experience
Corporate, personal and trust tax knowledge
Experience reviewing tax returns
Tax planning experience
Robust client relationship skills




Previous staff supervision or mentoring
In-Depth Tax strongly preferred
Applicants must have CPA firm/public accounting experience
