Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
An Early Childhood Education Diploma from an Ontario College of Arts and Technology or a recognized equivalent.
MUST BE AN RECE
Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education.
Previous ECE experience in a licensed child care centre is essential.
Highly motivated and responsible ECE with strong leadership skills committed to the healthy development of children.
Working knowledge of the CCEYA and ELECT Framework is an asset.
Current Police Vulnerable Record Check within the last six months.
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR - Level C Certificate.
Up to date immunization and health assessment as per Minister of Health requirement.
Knowledge and skills to perform all of the duties outlined in the job description.
Ability to work in a team setting.



Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong oral and written skill in English is required.
Working in a rapid paced environment with flexibility needed.
Energetic and physically able to participate with children indoors and outdoors.
Computer experience an asset.
