J&F; Distributors is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Duties:
Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and handled with care.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in protected and operational condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and mileage.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Manage delivery schedules and routes to optimize efficiency.
Handle paperwork associated with deliveries, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts.
Provide exceptional customer service, representing Copperside Foods professionally.
Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any issues or required repairs promptly.

Qualifications:




Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a Class 1 driver, with a robust understanding of safety regulations and driving protocols.
Solid knowledge of local and regional roadways and routes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
High level of attention to detail and safety awareness.
Ability to handle physical demands, including loading and unloading cargo.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
