Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Foreman (concrete construction/ finishing foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction, with hands-on experience in formsetting/concrete work. This role requires a commitment to quality control and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Concrete Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards of quality.

Duties
Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects. (Set footings/forms)
Ability to operate lasers
Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to concrete work.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow on job sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Support project supervisors in managing tasks and timelines.
Assist with training and mentoring field personnel and apprentices

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years Experience in formsetting as a Concrete foreman




Journeyman carpenter certified
Experience with Peri, Duraform, and conventional forming systems considered an asset
Monitor productivity, quality, compliance with drawings and building codes;
Proven experience in construction, particularly with concrete work.
Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, complex formwork, rebar placement and finishing techniques.
Experience in supervising teams or projects is a must.
Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace while also being self-motivated.
Valid Drivers License/Vehicle

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
