Duties
Assist experienced bricklayers with laying bricks, blocks, and stone according to schematics and blueprints
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely under supervision
Prepare construction sites by mixing mortar, cleaning surfaces, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support masonry work
Support renovation and restoration projects by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for recent masonry work
Perform general labour tasks such as lifting materials,



cleaning work areas, and assisting with material deliveries
Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction practices is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
Previous construction experience or familiarity with masonry is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Ability to read schematics or blueprints will be advantageous for understanding project requirements
Willingness to operate heavy equipment safely after proper instruction
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail
Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
