Sargent Contracting LTD is seeking skilled and experienced Tile Setters to join our growing team! We require installers that are looking for full time permanent employment. Sargent Contracting is a construction company that focuses mainly on tile flooring and stone work (Countertops/Slabs). We have sites located throughout the GTA, including downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke etc.

Job requirements and responsibilities
Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid “G” class licence
Must be able to provide a clean driver abstract upon request
Must be able to operate hand tools safely and effectively
Must have a strong work ethic and “can do” mindset
Must be able to work cooperatively and sportively in a team environment
Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
Prepare surfaces (leveling, cleaning, applying underlayment)
Cut and install tiles (ceramic,



porcelain, marble, etc.)
Apply grout and sealants
Repair and replace damaged tiles
Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and pattern layout
Maintain tools and ensure a clean, protected work workplace

Experience
10 year minimum in the flooring industry
Work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Tile laying: 10 years (required)

Language:
English (required)

Licence/Certification:
Class G Licence (required)
