This role focuses on executing global strategies as part of our Purchasing team. Reporting to the Global Category Manager, you'll manage relationships with supply partners and ensure cost-effective material sourcing. Your expertise in building cost models will be vital in achieving desired results across our automotive product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of commodity strategies for assigned raw materials
• Secure internal stakeholder engagement for strategy implementation
• Execute contracts that align with sourcing initiatives
• Monitor and manage risks within the commodity supply
• Report on commodity productivity accurately each month
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a financial or technical area
• At least 5 years in category management
• Manufacturing workplace experience; automotive preferred
• Advanced analytical and communication skills
• Robust proficiency in relevant software tools
