JMC partners with Ben Hokum & Son Limited, an established family-operated sawmill since 1956. As a Millwright, you will handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs of sawmill equipment. Key technical skills include welding and a strong mechanical aptitude, ensuring operational efficiency in the sawmill.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Maintain sawmill and material-handling machinery
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections regularly
• Repair bearings, belts, and gearboxes effectively
• Document repairs in CMMS and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
• Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification
• Minimum two years of industrial maintenance experience
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Welding and fabrication experience needed
• Comfortable working 3:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. shift
