As an FPGA Designer at MDA Space, you will report to a Senior Designer and work on medium to complex FPGA modules. You will convert requirements into detailed design documents, write VHDL code, and synthesize designs for space applications. Collaboration with board and software developers is key to ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities: • Convert design requirements into documentation • Define interfaces for FPGA modules • Write, synthesize, and route VHDL code • Support functional verification activities • Collaborate with team members in laboratory settings
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent • Five years of FPGA or ASIC design experience • Proficient in VHDL coding and design tools • Knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting languages • Strong communication skills in English and French
