Job Title: Product Developer Salary Range: CAD$ 65,000 – 81,920 Working Type: On-Site

PURPOSEOF ROLE

Manage agreed NPD& EPD projects so they launch on time & achieve commercial targets.Achieve this through collaboration with customers & internal functions,especially Planning, Procurement, Production and Quality.

KEYACCOUNTABILITIES

- Communicate NPD Briefs from customers to widerbusiness, set up and manage projects on internal system
- Create appropriate product concepts in linewith the customer brief, market and consumer trends
- Project manage recent products from start tolaunch following the NPD Stage & Gate Process
- Support meetings with customer productdeveloper
- Support cross-functional Feasibility Meetingsto establish if & how concepts can be made and at what cost
- Gather information for product costings basedon NPD Brief supplied by Concept & Commercial team
- Support the presentation of concepts andproduct submissions to customers
- Refine and align products with customerfeedback
- Update relevant stakeholders as customers requestchanges to ensure product is still viable and any changes in cost arecaptured and communicated




- Hand over customer-approved concepts anddocumentation to Process Technologist for scale up but continue to supportproject

KEYEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Proven track record in at least 1 Product Developer role
- 2-3 years in Product Development
- Experienced in presenting to and building strong relationships with retail Product Developers
- Strong project management skills
- Can quickly adapt to change & manage multiple projects
- Numerate, analytical and adept at Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- A full driving licence
