Advance occupational therapy practices as the Skilled Practice Leader at Humber River Health. This temp full time role focuses on collaboration and mentorship within Allied Health.
Humber River Health is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapy leader to enhance community-focused healthcare. In this role, you will support the integration of professional standards while mentoring recent and established staff. A significant part of your time will be dedicated to clinical caseload and leadership within the Allied Health Services Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a resource for clinical programs
• Mentor staff in professional practice standards
• Advocate for the Allied Health services and objectives
• Coach on clinical practices in Occupational Therapy
• Manage a clinical caseload comprising 50% of duties
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration in good standing with Ontario's College of Occupational Therapists
• At least 3 years acute care clinical experience
• Strong critical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities
• Experience in educational roles or leadership within healthcare
