Ballad is looking for a passionate Safety Officer to enhance our existing health and safety program across multiple locations. Ideal candidates will assist with compliance, oversee the implementation of SiteDocs, and engage with teams on safety training and practices. This role is essential for managing incidents and fostering an engaging safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and improve the Health & Safety Program
• Ensure compliance with Alberta's occupational health legislation
• Oversee safety documentation and reporting through SiteDocs




• Conduct training for recent employees on safety procedures
• Collaborate with teams to monitor and enhance safety performance
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of safety experience
• Solid knowledge of Alberta health and safety regulations
• Experience in COR-certified organizations
• Skills in digital safety management systems
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
