WQS Industrial Services Ltd. is hiring Apprentice Ironworkers in Fort McMurray, Alberta for upcoming turnaround work. This role features a structured shift schedule with opportunities for growth opportunities.
As an Apprentice Ironworker, you'll support our teams in delivering essential rope access and ground ironwork during the August to October 2026 turnaround. Ideal candidates will have the required certifications, bringing a robust work ethic and commitment to safety in the workplace. WQS provides flights and camp arrangements to ensure a comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Journeyman Ironworkers in daily tasks
• Follow safety protocols throughout work assignments




• Maintain compliance with certification requirements
• Work shifts of 12 hours per day
• Foster a collaborative and positive work setting
Requirements:
• Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Ironworker Certification
• Ropes Access IRATA Certification preferred
• Fit for Duty compliance at all times
• Clean driver's license and 3-year abstract
• Committed to safety and teamwork
