Position Vacancy: Nutrition and Food Services Position: Temporary Part-Time NFS Assistant (US)
Contract End Date: Approximately Until May 2, 2027
Hours of Work: 10:00-18:00, 11:30-19:30, every other weekend.
Location: WRHN @ Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital, KW Campus)
Position Summary N&FS; Assistant is responsible for setting up the dishroom, working on a strip line, stripping tray, equipment cleaning and to help as requested or required. Successful candidate must follow current cleaning and sanitizing procedures and contribute to ensuring there is a save environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Position Requirements
Certified food handler certificate required
Able to work quickly on a moving beltline
Accurate and efficient
Able to deal tactfully with other people and work as part of a team
Well organized and aware of proper cleaning procedures
Able to read and write English
Previous food services experience as asset
