Wesley is seeking a passionate Part time Client Care Worker for their Supportive Housing program in Hamilton. This role focuses on aiding adults with dual diagnosis, empowering clients through flexible interventions and life skills support.
In this dynamic position, you'll work every Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm, supporting individuals facing complex behavioral and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, maintaining a clean environment, and documenting client interactions. Ideal candidates should exhibit a commitment to compassion and accountability while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals with behavioral and mental health needs • Ensure cleanliness of program common areas • Follow individual care plans and safety protocols • Provide crisis intervention when necessary • Document all client interactions and care updates
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Social Services • Experience in supportive housing preferred • Excellent documentation and communication skills • Willingness to work flexible hours • Non-violent crisis intervention and first aid certification
