You will support students experiencing mental health diagnoses or challenges by delivering specialized treatment that is both developmentally appropriate and evidence-based. Collaboration with school staff and community services is crucial to help families understand and navigate children’s mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth with mental health challenges in school • Apply evidence-based treatment modalities for mental wellness • Collaborate with medical professionals and family services • Help families understand youth mental health issues • Conduct suicide risk assessments as needed
Requirements: • Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred • 3+ years of clinical experience in mental health • Knowledge in youth mental health services • Valid BC Driver's License and insured vehicle required • Must undergo a criminal record search
