Our client, located in Windsor, ON , has an immediate opportunity:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setup and operation of 3 and 5 axis CNC machine tools.

Pay Rate: $negotiable – depends on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining.
- Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
- Must have own tools, Micrometer up to 3", Interapid indicator, dial indicator, 6", Vernier, Telescope gages, adjustable wrench, Allen wrench set Metric/standard, machinist Stone, indicating chair, edge finder.




- Recognize the functions of the specific Controller capabilities program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
- Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department.
- Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines.

Qualifications:

- Must have at least 5 years’ experience for the wage mentioned above
- Custom Fabrication experience a must.
- Knowledge of GD&T; an asset.
