Camp Gencheff is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and organized After School Program Coordinator to lead our after-school programming for children and youth, including participants with disabilities and additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities.
- Provide supervision and support to participants and staff on the floor
- Create programming that encourages independence, social skills, recreation, and life skills.
- Supervise and provide direction to program staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and daily assignments.
- Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding participant needs and program activities.
- Maintain attendance and program records.
- Ensure appropriate supervision, safety, and staff-to-participant ratios.
- Respond appropriately to behavioural, medical, and safety concerns.
- Complete incident reports and other required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, protected, and welcoming environment.
- Support community outings, special events, and other Camp Gencheff activities.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children and/or youth with disabilities.
- Experience in recreation, child care, education, community programming, or a related field.
- Strong communication,



organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patient, creative, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy environment.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Education

- Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care, Recreation, Education, Disability Studies, Social Work, or a related field is an asset.
