Join the Urgent Response Services team as a Respite Support Worker at Lumenus Community Services. Support children and youth with autism in a fixed-term, community-focused role. In this full time position, you will work closely with clients experiencing significant needs, applying evidence-driven interventions. Your responsibilities will include assessing client strengths and needs, providing direct care, and working collaboratively within diverse settings to ensure safety and support. Key Responsibilities:
Generalize therapeutic interventions to client needs
Provide supportive and validating interactions with clients
Assess and track client progress through daily notes
Engage in recreational activities to support individualized goals
Maintain a secure and organized program workplace Requirements:
ECE, CYC, SSW, DSW Diploma or equivalent
Experience with autism support in community settings
Understanding of anti-oppression and anti-racism principles
Ability to engage in physical activities with clients
