Shape the future of Indigenous research at UCalgary as the Indigenous Research Support Coordinator. Drive initiatives that promote cultural competency and data stewardship.
This fixed-term, full time position within the Indigenous Research Support Team (IRST) focuses on overseeing Indigenous research data processes and supporting community interactions. You'll engage with researchers, aid in resource development, and coordinate educational workshops to advance Indigenous methodologies at the university.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Indigenous research data initiatives and objectives
• Coordinate meetings and take minutes for working groups
• Conduct reviews related to Indigenous data governance




• Compile and create resource documents for researchers
• Support logistics for Indigenous research events and workshops
Requirements:
• Must have an undergraduate degree
• 2-3 years’ research administrative support experience
• Understanding of Indigenous research frameworks
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
