Join the TTC as an Emergency Management Planner and play a vital role in enhancing public transit safety. This position focuses on developing resilient emergency management processes in a versatile, hybrid work setting. As part of the Safety and Setting Department, you will be responsible for supporting the TTC’s corporate emergency management program. This includes policy development, partner engagement, and incident management. You will work collaboratively with various departments and external partners to ensure consistent readiness and compliance with emergency standards. Key Responsibilities:
Enhance emergency management systems and training programs
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective strategies
Draft contingency plans for events affecting the TTC
Represent TTC in major incidents and crisis situations
Advise on emergency protocols and best practices Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Emergency Management or equivalent
Extensive experience in a multi-stakeholder context
Familiarity with Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act
Proficient in emergency management tools and databases
