In this permanent part-time position, report directly to the Medical Director and pathologists. Your key tasks include dissecting surgical pathology specimens, dictating descriptions, and submitting samples for further testing. Effective communication and a detail-oriented approach are vital as you help deliver high-quality care within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine surgical specimens and assist in dissection
• Submit samples for histological analyses
• Dictate and document descriptions accurately




• Engage in team-oriented team efforts within the lab
• Address additional related duties as necessary
Requirements:
• Current CAP-ACP Pathologists’ Assistant Membership
• MLT registration with CMLTO if applicable
• Experience with Front End Voice Recognition systems preferred
• Extensive pathology experience is highly valued
• Recent hospital experience preferred
