Serve as a Pilot in Command for aerial firefighting missions in the Dash 8-300. Ensure operational excellence and safety across international firefighting bases. In this role, you will command the Dash 8-300 fleet on vital firefighting missions. You will set safety standards and make real-time risk-aware decisions while leading a multi-crew operation. Execution of regulatory compliance and thorough pre/post-flight inspections will be essential parts of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Command aerial firefighting and support missions
Lead comprehensive mission briefings and explicit roles
Plan missions with a focus on compliance and safety
Coordinate effectively with air attack and maintenance
Manage emergency procedures per SOPs and regulations Requirements:
1500 flight hours total required
500 hours as PIC needed
250 hours on Dash 8-300 preferred
CPL with IR and ME license required
