The Opportunity RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) High School Sports Medicine/Social Studies/ELA teachingposition starting

August 27, 2026 to January 22, 2027 at George McDougall.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education atwww.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.

New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.

External applicantsmust provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job prospect, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months

The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
