This role reports to the Director of People & Culture and focuses on developing health and safety programs while managing disability claims and the Group Benefits Plan. You will educate employees on advantages, and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee to foster a safe work workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement occupational health and safety vision
• Coordinate health and safety management systems
• Prepare monthly health and safety reports
• Administer Group Benefits and Short-Term Disability claims




• Manage WSIB claims and support training initiatives
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education, HR diploma is a strong asset
• 3 years of HR or Health & Safety management experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
