In this full-time role, you will work collaboratively under licensed operators to aid in the operations of the LRWRP and LRPCP plants. As an OIT, you’ll engage in equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and essential data logging. This role provides opportunities to progress to higher certification levels while focusing on safety and public service.

Key Responsibilities:



• Support the operation of wastewater treatment plants • Conduct routine equipment inspections and adjustments • Input relevant data into the plant's record-keeping system • Address and log public complaints regarding plant operations • Follow safety protocols and assist with health and safety duties

Requirements: • Must possess a secondary school diploma and post-secondary education • Successful completion of mechanical comprehension test • Active Class ‘G’ Driver’s License required • Willingness to achieve required wastewater operator certifications • Solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
