Drive sustainability and effective management as the Facilities & Solid Waste Services Manager in Campbell River. Oversee operations, maintenance, and long-term planning for the City’s facilities and waste services.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll manage all City facilities, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards. This role involves leading solid waste services, including planning and improvement of waste and recycling programs. With a focus on project management and sustainability, you'll contribute significantly to the community's environmental efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



• Manage the operation and maintenance of municipal facilities • Oversee the solid waste program and recycling initiatives • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards • Lead contract management and supplier relations • Coordinate inventory management for City operations

Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma in related field • Minimum five years in facilities management • Three years in municipal solid waste management • Valid BC Class 5 driver's license • Project Management Skilled (PMP) certification preferred
