As a Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher, you will engage students through innovative, inquiry-based lessons aligned with Alberta’s educational standards. Your role involves integrating character education and Islamic values while fostering a positive classroom culture. Collaboration with support staff and families ensures that every student receives the guidance needed for their unique learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned grade 4 lessons
• Design engaging and collaborative learning experiences
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet learners' needs
• Provide meaningful feedback through assessments
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification
• Bachelor of Education with a focus on Elementary Education
• Strong knowledge of Alberta’s curriculum requirements
• Ability to create an inclusive and respectful environment
• Experience with educational technology to enhance learning
