Take the lead in shaping employer communications at the University of Waterloo. This role focuses on enhancing the university's visibility and connection to the job market within a full time context. As the Communications Director, you will manage the Co-operative and Experiential Education team's communication strategies, working closely with university leaders to integrate effective messaging for external stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure that the university articulates its unique contributions to co-op education while building robust partnerships that enhance student experiences in the workforce. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic adviser to CEE leadership on communication matters
Direct the development of employer-oriented communications initiatives
Align CEE messaging with institutional mission and goals
Foster connections between the university and industry partners
Monitor and respond to emerging trends in co-op education Requirements:
Significant experience in communication strategy development
Ability to lead and inspire communications teams
Robust background in stakeholder relationship management
Proven track record in higher education communications
